Pat Maddock is the senior member of the litigation sector of the Firm. He is from Devils Lake, North Dakota, graduating from college at the University of North Dakota in 1962 and from the University of North Dakota Law School in 1964. He is licensed in all state and federal courts in the State of North Dakota. His practice areas include medical malpractice defense, professional negligence defense, personal injury, products liability and other tort litigation.
Pat has been a member of the North Dakota Judicial Council, from 1978 to 1988. He is a member of the North Dakota State Bar Association, where he serves on the Attorney Standards Committee. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the North Dakota Defense Lawyers Association, the Association of Defense Trial Lawyers and the Defense Research Institute. Pat is a certified trial specialist, certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
Pat is a frequent lecturer on medical/legal issues, including hospital and clinic quality assurance and related issues.
